Whale Shark Trip in Saleh Bay

- 01.30In the small hours we collect you from your accommodation in Sumbawa Besar and set off for Labuan Jambu Village
- 03.30Arriving at Labuan Jambu Village, Tarano District, then boarding a traditional boat out to the Saleh Bay area
- 05.30Arriving among the bagan platforms while the crew searches for which one the whale sharks have visited
- 06.00Time to snorkel and swim with the whale sharks. Breakfast is served on the bagan
- 08.00Heading back to Labuan Jambu Village
- 10.00Back at Labuan Jambu for a short rest before the overland drive to Sumbawa Besar
- 12.30Arriving in Sumbawa Besar and returning to your accommodation. End of programme. If you would like lunch first, we can drop you at a local restaurant (at your own cost)

- April to November is the best window: calmer seas, clearer water, and the bagan fishermen operating regularly. If your dates are flexible, avoid January to March when the weather turns unpredictable.
