This open trip is for travellers who want to enjoy Sumbawa Island at a lower cost. Expenses are shared with other participants and departures follow our fixed schedule, so it is also a chance to meet new travel companions. The trip starts and ends at Lombok International Airport, taking in Kenawa Island, Moyo Island with Mata Jitu Waterfall, and snorkelling with whale sharks in Saleh Bay.

Day 1
Lombok – Kenawa Island
Lunch & dinner included
- 09.00Meeting point at Lombok International Airport (LOP), then heading to Kayangan Harbour, East Lombok
- 11.00Arriving at Kayangan Harbour, crossing by ferry to Poto Tano Harbour, Sumbawa
- 13.00Arriving at Poto Tano Village for lunch at a simple eatery, then crossing by wooden boat to Kenawa Island
- 13.30Arriving at Kenawa Island to enjoy the scenery and snorkel
- 16.00Returning to Poto Tano Harbour, then heading to Sumbawa Besar
- 18.00Arriving in Sumbawa Besar for dinner, then checking into the hotel to rest

- Best Time to Visit
- April to November is the best window: calmer seas, clearer water, and the bagan fishermen operating regularly. If your dates are flexible, avoid January to March when the weather turns unpredictable.

Price per person for an open trip on fixed dates. Minimum 5 and maximum 10 participants per departure; with fewer than 5 the price is adjusted. If the group size is odd, the last guest to register takes a room alone for an extra IDR 750,000. Whale sharks are wild animals and nature is beyond our control — if you don't encounter one on arrival at the site, we refund IDR 250,000 per person.
